If anyone wants to know anything about antennas

As noticed in the forum there are people who are very vaguely familiar term "antenna" and antennas used in daily practice, I thought it would be useful for all of us to have hardly learned something. Since you do not intend to present here a course for designers of antennas, the information will be minimum and maximum aggregate. Sure would love to answer questions related to antennas. They are my hobby around 35god. and occupation of about '20 Theme 1 - Electromagnetic / Radio / Waves and polarization Radio waves are essentially a combination of electric and magnetic waves, and therefore is also called electromagnetic waves. They occur in the area around the transmitting antenna when it went both HF radio component / {E} the electric and magnetic field {H} / each other and are inextricably linked. These two components are orthogonal and the vector of the electric field determines the polarization of electromagnetic waves. http://www.picvalley.../1549791319.JPG http://www.picvalley.../1881747640.JPG The graph shown electromagnetic fields (waves) with vertical polarization. For easier orientation in practical terms when radiating element of an antenna is vertical, then the polarization of the antenna is vertical. That electromagnetic field induced in the receiving antenna electromotive / EHD /. EHD in the receiving antenna parameters repeats the current in the transmitting antenna. P.S. As I draw lazy here and in subsequent posts will use drawings and graphics of reference books or the Internet ... ;)
